Caló des Moro and S’almunia are the privileged destination of the Nature tour.
The departure is from Cala Figuera, the picturesque fishing port located in the municipality of Santanyí. Sailing at walking speed, we will head towards Cala Santanyí and the peculiar rock formation of Es Pontàs, an old entrance to a cave that has now collapsed. We will continue towards Caló des Macs and Cala Llombards where we will discover “Sa cova des fum”. Heading towards Caló des Moro and S’almunia we can discover other caves that were surely used as shelters and hideouts for smugglers. From here we find an increasingly wild coast until we reach Caló des Moro, a beautiful and small beach with crystal clear waters, although quite crowded. Right at the back of Caló des Moro, and after skirting a rock, we find the idyllic S’almunia, where you can still breathe an air of yesteryear with its old barracks and fishermen’s huts. Our visitors will have the opportunity to swim from the boat in Caló d’es Moro or in S’almunia, depending on the direction of the wind.
